Armed Forces Classification Test (AFCT), Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT), Defense Language Aptitude Battery (DLAB) Scheduler Tool
This MARADMIN announces the implementation of the Navy College Management Information System (NCMIS) Scheduling Tool as the preferred method for Marines to schedule Armed Forces Classification Test (AFCT), Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT), and Defense Language Aptitude Battery (DLAB) testing. Effective 13 April 2026, all Marines will submit scheduling requests through the NCMIS online platform, replacing the traditional method of contacting education centers directly.

1. This MARADMIN announces the implementation of the Navy College Management Information System (NCMIS) Scheduling Tool. This application will be preferred method for Marines to schedule AFCT, DLPT, and DLAB testing. While the traditional method of contacting education centers for test scheduling is still available, it is no longer the recommended approach. 2. Background. Previously, AFCTs, DLPTs, and DLABs were scheduled by contacting Installation Education Centers. The NCMIS Scheduling Tool eliminates this requirement and offers transparency by providing a clear and immediate view of testing availability across the entire Marine Corps. 3. Policy Update. Effective 13 April 2026, all Marines will submit scheduling requests using NCMIS at https:(slash)(slash)myeducation.netc.navy.mil. 3.a. Education Center Scheduling Calendar. 4.a. All Education Center Installation Test Control Officers must ensure that testing schedules are up to date and accurate. Testing Calendars will be updated to reflect testing for the current and following quarter at the minimum. 4.b. This is an inspectable item and will be monitored by Manpower Analysis Branch (MPA), Manpower Plans and Policy Division. 5. No-Show Policy. 5.a. A "No-Show" occurs when a Marine does not attend their scheduled test. When this occurs the Installation Education Center will notify the scheduled tester's command senior enlisted advisor via email. Additional policy guidance will be published in the forthcoming Testing Marine Corps Order. 6. Submit questions to MPA at smb_manpower_msab_testing@usmc.mil. 7.
