Fiscal Year 2027 Inspector General of the Marine Corps Command Inspection Schedule

1.  The Inspector General of the Marine Corps (IGMC)
serves as the sole authority and principal advisor to the CMC and 
the SECNAV on all Marine Corps inspection matters.  This role is 
fundamental to the IGMC mission of facilitating Marine Corps 
efficiency, integrity, and institutional readiness.  The IGMC 
"conducts command inspections of Marine Corps units across the Total
Force, assesses readiness, and reports on the efficiency of the 
Marine Corps and its preparations to support military operations 
executed by combatant commanders." 
2.  The IGMC conducts Comprehensive Command Inspections (CCI) and 
Independent Command Inspections (ICI) as its primary oversight 
methods.  A CCI evaluates the headquarters element and includes a
co-inspection of a designated subordinate unit.  An ICI consists of a
command evaluation and does not include a concurrent subordinate 
co-inspection.
3.  The IGMC will conduct the following inspections in FY27

4.  IGMC inspections are pre-coordinated with respective commands
and are considered firm.  Therefore, rescheduling or cancellation 
will not occur under normal circumstances.  Commands may only request
a schedule change due to unforeseen or extraordinary circumstances, 
and all such requests must be submitted formally to the IGMC via the
Enterprise Task Management System.  The IGMC retains final decision 
authority for the approval or denial of all rescheduling and 
cancellation requests, and any major schedule changes or significant
updates will be formally published via MARADMIN.
