1. Purpose. This MARADMIN announces Irregular Warfare
and Competition (IW/C) specialty training courses for which Marines
can apply to increase their operational and technical competency in
IW/C. These courses include both Department of War (DoW) and non-DOW

IW-related requirements while also tracking the associated capacity
and proficiency of the force. The services will establish and
maintain training and education with non-DoW organizations to raise
operational and technical competency of military personnel in IW.
The services will establish and maintain service policies and
programs to entice and incentivize military personnel to raise their
operational and technical competency in IW.
3. Interested Marines can review and register for available courses
under the training tab at: https://usmc.sharepoint-mil.us/sites/
DCCDI/SitePages/Irregular-Warfare-and-Competition.aspx.

unique Service School Code (SSC) or Local School Code (LSC) for use
in tracking student completion of a course in the Marine Corps
Training and Information Management System (MCTIMS).
