July 2026 Selected Marine Corps Reserve (SMCR), Individual Ready Reserve (IRR), and Active Reserve (AR) Corporal and Sergeant Promotion Authority
This MARADMIN establishes promotion authority for July 2026 promotions of Lance Corporals to Corporal and Corporals to Sergeant in the Selected Marine Corps Reserve (SMCR), Individual Ready Reserve (IRR), and Active Reserve (AR). Commands must verify that each Marine's JEPES promotion score meets or exceeds the published cutting scores available in MCTFS before effecting promotions with an effective date of July 1, 2026.

1. This MARADMIN is the promotion authority for all LCpls and Cpls of the SMCR, IRR, and AR. Cutting scores are available in the Marine Corps Total Force System (MCTFS) after the current month select grades post. Prior to effecting promotions, commands are reminded of their requirement to verify each select grade Marine's JEPES promotion score meets or exceeds the published cutting score. Retain the current month cutting scores with this MARADMIN for future reference. 2.
