FY27 Congressional Fellowship Program for Officers and Staff Noncommissioned Officers Selection Panel Results

This MARADMIN announces the screening panel results for the FY27 Congressional Fellowship Program (CFP), which selects Marines to gain senior-level experience working with the U.S. Congress. Twenty-four Marines (13 officers and 11 staff noncommissioned officers) have been selected to proceed to the interview stage, which will be completed on or about 14 August 2026, with final selection results to be released in a separate MARADMIN.

1.  Purpose.  The Fiscal Year 2027 Congressional
Fellowship Program (CFP) selects Marines to obtain first-hand,
senior-level experience with the workings of the U.S. Congress to
acquire additional skills, relationships, and knowledge that enables
the Marine Corps to sustain and improve its efforts to inform and
educate the legislative branch.  The FY27 CFP Panel is conducted in
three parts: screening, interviews, and final selection.  The
screening panel concluded on 15 July 2026.  The following Marines
will be contacted to schedule in-person or virtual interviews by the
Office of Legislative Affairs (OLA).  Final selection results will
be released via a separate MARADMIN following the conclusion of
interviews and the final selection process.

3.  Coordinating Instructions
3.a.  Interviews
3.a.1.  The purpose of the interview stage is to evaluate
applicants' abilities regarding verbal communication, interpersonal
skills, mental agility, and professional acumen.
3.a.2.  All interviews will be completed on or about 14 August
2026.
3.b.  Selectees may reference the Congressional Fellowship Program

4.  Incurred Obligation.  If Marines incur a service obligation from
graduate education and training during the CFP, it will overlap with
any previous obligations.  When obligations overlap, the one with
the latest end date will be the primary obligation.  Participation
in the CFP incurs two concurrent obligations: one for the
legislative fellowship per reference (b), and one for the graduate
degree program per reference (e).
4.a.  If the graduate degree program is less than one calendar
year, obligated service will be 36 months upon successful degree
completion.
4.b.  If the graduate degree program is longer than one calendar
year, obligated service will be 48 months upon successful degree
completion.
