Solicitation of Nominees for the 2025 Marine Corps Financial Management Awards Program
This MARADMIN solicits nominations for the 2025 Marine Corps Financial Management Awards Program (MCFMAP), which recognizes outstanding achievement and innovation by individual Marines, Civilian Marines, and units/organizations in the financial management community for the period 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025. Nominations are due by 19 December 2025, with award recipients to be announced in January 2026 and honored at a ceremony on 26 February 2026 at the Army Navy Country Club.

1. This MARADMIN solicits nominations for the annual Marine Corps Financial Management Awards Program (MCFMAP) for the period 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025. The MCFMAP was established in 2023 and is sponsored by the Marine Corps Association to recognize the outstanding achievement and innovation of individual Marines, Civilian Marines, and units/organizations from the operating forces, supporting establishment, and Marine Corps Forces Reserve who have made significant contributions to the financial management community and exemplified superior excellence and dedication to the mission and audit readiness. The MCFMAP recognizes the following six award categories: 1.A. 3404 Financial Management Officer of the Year: (1) Company grade officer (O1-O3). 1.B. 3408 Financial Management Resource Officer of the Year: (1) WO-CWO3. 1.C. 3402 Finance Officer of the Year: (1) WO-CWO3. 1.D. 3451 Financial Management Resource Analyst of the Year: (1) E6-E7 and (1) E1-E5. 1.E. 3432 Financial Technician of the Year: (1) E6-E7 and (1) E1-E5. 1.F. Civilian Financial Manager of the Year: (1) GS-09 – GS-13 serving in either a 05XX or 0343 billet identification code. 2. The following organizational award categories were added in calendar year 2025. Selection for organizational awards will be based on established objective criteria measuring each command's financial performance. The organizational categories are: 2.A. (Organizational) Marine Corps Comptroller Organization/Team of the Year (Operating Forces). 2.B. (Organizational) Marine Corps Comptroller Organization/Team of the Year (Supporting Establishment). 2.C. (Organizational) Marine Corps Disbursing or Finance Organization /Team of the Year. 2.D. Selection of award recipients will be made by a non-statutory awards board convened by the Deputy Commandant Programs and Resources. Phase 1 will comprise of Occupational Field Specialists and senior Financial Management leaders reviewing all submissions and providing the top three packages for each award to the Phase 2 board members. Phase 2 will comprise of selected Financial Management Colonels who will review the top three packages for each award and provide the final recommendations to DC P&R for approval. 3. Action 3.A. Commands with Financial Management Marines and Civilians who meet the criteria for the MCFMAP are encouraged to submit nominations via the operational chain of command with a final endorsement by the first General Officer or Senior Executive Service (SES) in the chain of command. 3.B. Nomination packages will be submitted no later than 19 December 2025 via SharePoint. Nominees submitted for the MCFMAP are highly encouraged for submissions to the Under Secretary of War Comptroller (USD (C)) Awards Program, Department of the Navy Financial Management Awards Program, and American Society of Military Comptrollers Awards Program.
