Announcement of the 6th Annual Marine Corps eLearning Ecosystem (MCeLE) Virtual Workshop and Call for Presentations

1. Purpose. Marine Corps University (MCU),
Educational Technology Department, announces the 6th Annual
Marine Corps eLearning Ecosystem (MCeLE) Virtual Workshop, scheduled
for 21-24 Sept 2026.
2. Background. The MCeLE Virtual Workshop provides a forum for
learning professionals, training managers, academic officers,
sponsors, command representatives, and MCeLE users to share
innovative approaches that enhance training and education across
the Marine Corps enterprise. Measurable outcomes that demonstrate
improved readiness, enhanced learner performance, or efficiencies in
time and resource management are welcomed.
3. Mission. The College of Distance Education (CDET) invites
submissions from individuals and organizations across the DoD that
have demonstrated innovative or impactful uses of MCeLE.
4. Coordinating Instructions: Participation provides an opportunity
to share best practices, contribute to enterprise learning
modernization, and highlight organizational achievements across the
Total Force. 
4.a. Submission packages must be received no later than 21 Aug 2026.
4.b. Submissions must include either a video of no more than
five minutes, a one-page abstract, or a PowerPoint presentation.

4.c. Selected presenters will be notified via email no later than
28 August 2026 and invited to showcase their use cases.
4.d. The virtual workshop is split into two parts. The first part
captures certifications of ecosystem components. The second part
features selected use-case presentations, industry leadership panel, 
discussions on the future direction of the MCeLE ecosystem, and the
integration of artificial intelligence capabilities within the
ecosystem.
