Headquarters Marine Corps Warrior Athlete Readiness and Resilience-Semper Fit Branch Seeks Applications for the 2026 Male and Female Athletes of the Year and Team of the Year
HQMC WARR-SF Branch is accepting applications for the 2026 Male and Female Athletes of the Year and Team of the Year awards. Active-duty Marines and Reserve Component members on active duty who demonstrated athletic excellence in 2026 competitions are encouraged to apply by 31 January 2027 with required documentation and O-5 or higher commanding officer endorsement.

1. Background. Headquarters, United States Marine Corps (HQMC) Warrior Athlete Readiness and Resilience-Semper Fit (WARR-SF) Branch is seeking applications for the 2026 Male and Female Athletes of the Year. Team applications for an All-Marine Sports team may also be submitted. 2. Any active-duty Marine or member of the Reserve Component on active duty may apply or submit a nomination for Athlete of the Year. The application form can be found at https://www.usmc-mccs.org/allmarinesports. Email completed applications to allmarinesports@usmc-mccs.org. 3. Nominations include a professional Marine biography, sports biography, copy of basic training record from Marine Online, and any substantiating documents encompassing the athletic accomplishments during the calendar year. The application is endorsed by the applicant's commanding officer, O5 or higher. Nominations are vetted by HQMC WARR-SF. 4. Marines and/or high achieving Marine sport teams, demonstrating athletic excellence in intramural, varsity, All-Marine, national, and international competitions are encouraged to apply. Competitions comply with amateur regulations within nationally recognized governing bodies (e.g., USA Track and Field) or affiliated organizations (e.g., Amateur Athletic Union) within the United States Olympic Committee. 5. All submissions are due to HQMC WARR-SF no later than 31 January 2027. HQMC reserves the right to select both individual and team Male and Female athletes of the year. The selection of the 2026 Male and Female Athletes of the Year will be announced via MARADMIN. 6. This MARADMIN is applicable to the Active Component and members of the Reserve Component on active duty. 7. Release authorized by Lieutenant General William J.
