Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC) Semper Fit Branch Seeks Applications for the 2025 Male and Female Athletes of the Year
HQMC Semper Fit Branch is accepting applications for the 2025 Male and Female Athletes of the Year awards, recognizing Marines who demonstrated exceptional athletic excellence during calendar year 2025. Active Component Marines, Selected Reserve members, and Marines on Active Duty Operational Support orders may apply or be nominated, with all submissions due by 31 January 2026.

1. Headquarters United States Marine Corps (HQMC) Semper Fit seeks applications for the 2025 Male and Female Athletes of the Year. Team applications for an All-Marine sports team may also be submitted. 2. Any Active Component Marine may apply or submit a nomination for Athlete of the Year. The application form is at https://www.usmc-mccs.org/allmarinesports. Email completed applications to allmarinesports@usmc-mccs.org. 3. Nominations include a professional Marine biography, sports biography, copy of basic training record from Marine Online, and any substantiating documents encompassing the athletic accomplishments during the calendar year. The commanding officer, O-5 or higher, endorses the Marine's application. HQMC Semper Fit reviews nominations. 4. Marines and/or high achieving Marine sport teams, demonstrating athletic excellence in intramural, varsity, All-Marine, national, and international competitions are encouraged to apply. Competitions comply with amateur regulations within nationally recognized governing bodies (e.g. USA Track and Field) or affiliated organizations (e.g. Amateur Athletic Union) within the United States Olympic Committee. 5. All submissions are due to HQMC Semper Fit no later than 31 January 2026. HQMC selects both individual and team Male and Female Athletes of the Year. The selection of the 2025 Male and Female Athletes of the Year are announced via MARADMIN. 6. This MARADMIN applies to the Active Component, members of the Selected Marine Corps Reserve, and Marines on Active Duty Operational Support orders. 7.
