Out of Cycle Inclusion and Notification of the Implementation Guidance for New Primary Military Occupational Specialty (PMOS) 0557, Total Force Integrator Staff Non-Commissioned Officer, in Fiscal Year 2027 MOS Manual

This MARADMIN announces the conversion of Free Military Occupational Specialty (FMOS) 0557 to a Primary Military Occupational Specialty (PMOS) 0557, Total Force Integrator Staff Non-Commissioned Officer, effective October 1, 2026. The message provides implementation guidance and solicits qualified Active Reserve Marines (GySgt to MGySgt) to request lateral moves into this new PMOS, which supports Global Force Management responsibilities and requires TS/SCI clearance.

1.  Purpose.  This MARADMIN announces the conversion
of Free Military Occupational Specialty (FMOS) 0557 to a PMOS,
provides implementation guidance, and solicits for qualified Marines
for MOS conversion and lateral move (LatMov) into PMOS 0557, Total
Force Integrator Staff Non-Commissioned Officer (SNCO).
2.  Background.  In accordance with the reference (c), Deputy
Commandant (DC) Manpower and Reserve Affairs (M&RA) submitted an
out-of-cycle change to reference (a).  This change was thoroughly
reviewed and approved by the Personnel, Organization, and Training
(POT) Working Group. After review, the POT pillar leads unanimously
recommended that DC Training and Education (T&E) convert 0557 from an
FMOS to PMOS, effective 1 October 2026.  The changes communicated in
paragraphs 3 and 4 of this MARADMIN have been approved for inclusion
in the FY28 MOS Manual and as an out-of-cycle change to the published
FY27 Manual.
3.  MOS addition:  Reference (a), Chapter 3, Page 3-59.
3.a.  MOS Title:  PMOS 0557, Total Force Integrator Staff
Non-Commissioned Officer (MGySgt to GySgt), DC M&RA.
3.b.  Summary.  Marines that hold MOS 0557 perform Global Force
Management responsibilities across Directed Readiness, Assignment,
Apportionment, Allocation, and Assessment for all Total Force
requirements, including sourcing certification and verification, in
support of campaign and contingency planning and execution, with
access to the Joint Capability Requirements Manager and the Strategic
Decision Support Manager. These Marines assist the Total Force
Integration Officer to provide Total Force Marine Corps subject
matter expertise required during the deliberate planning process to
integrate Total Force capabilities, limitations, access authorities,
force deployment considerations, and contracted support requirements,
to include hosted nation wartime support.
3.c.  Eligibility Criteria.
3.c.1.  Marines selected for 0557 FMOS on MARADMIN 587/25 have until
1 July 2027 to request a LatMov into the TFI 0557 PMOS.  Each Marine
will conduct counseling with the TFI Occupational Field Specialist
NLT 15 November 2026 to discuss career path opportunities.
3.c.2.  Marines selected on MARADMIN 185/26 will have until 1 June
2028 to request a LatMov into the TFI 0557 PMOS. Marines must serve
180 days within a TFI billet before requesting LatMov.
3.c.3.  Marines selected after 1 October 2026 for the TFI 0557 PMOS:
3.c.3.a.  All must serve a minimum of 180 days in a designated TFI
billet prior to submitting a LatMov request.
3.c.3.b.  Must submit a LatMov no later than 270 days after serving
in a TFI billet.
3.c.3.c.  Must meet MOS certification and training requirements as
listed in the MOS Manual, reference (a).
3.c.3.d.  Must receive a fully adjudicated Top Secret/Sensitive
Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
3.d.  Training Requirements.
3.d.1.  Complete the Global Force Management Overview (GF1101), JKO,
virtual.
3.d.2.  Complete the Joint Capabilities Requirements Manager Course
(GF1102), Joint Deployment Training Center (JDTC), Ft Eustis, VA.
3.d.3.  Complete the Joint Planning and Execution System (JPES)
Support Personnel Course (JD1102), JDTC, Ft Eustis, VA.
3.d.4.  Complete the JPES Action Officer Course (JD2101), JDTC,
Ft Eustis, VA.
3.d.5.  Complete the Joint Operation Contracting Support Planning and
Execution Course (JOPEC) Lite, virtual.
3.d.6.  Complete the Joint Logistics Course (JLC) (A14L232), Ft Lee,
VA or virtual.
3.e.  For a complete listing of duties and tasks, refer to reference
(b), MAGTF Training and Readiness Manual.
3.f.  Related Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) Title and
Code.  None.
3.g.  Related Military Skills.  None.
3.h.  Ineligibility Criteria.
3.h.1.  Marines not board-selected for TFI SNOC PMOS 0557 who have
not completed prerequisite training.
3.h.2.  Marines not serving in the Active Reserve (AR) Program with
component code B1.
3.i.  Waivers.  Exception-to-policy waiver requests will be evaluated
on a case-by-case basis by the Occupational Field Manager and
Specialist.
4.  Process.  Eligible Active Reserve Marines requesting a LatMov
into PMOS 0557 must submit a Reenlistment, Extension, Lateral Move
(RELM) request package via the Total Force Retention System (TFRS)
to Reserve Affairs Manpower Management for consideration.
5.  This message has been coordinated between DC, M&RA; DC, CD&I; DC,
T&E.
6.  This MARADMIN is only applicable to enlisted Marines in the AR
Program.
