Hardship Duty Pay – Tempo (HDP-T) Program Details
This MARADMIN reauthorizes the Hardship Duty Pay-Tempo (HDP-T) Program for eligible Marines for an additional five-year period. The program is effective from October 1, 2023, through October 1, 2028, and applies to all active and reserve component Marines.

1. Purpose. To reauthorize the Hardship Duty Pay-Tempo (HDP-T) Program.<br> 2. Background. Reference (a) provides Marine Corps guidance for the administration of the HDP-T Program. Per reference (b), the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Manpower and Reserve Affairs reauthorized the Department of the Navy's program for payment of HDP-T for an additional five-year period.<br> 3. Policy. Effective 1 October 2023, the payment of HDP-T to eligible Marines is reauthorized through 1 October 2028.<br> 4. Reference (a) is hereby cancelled.<br> 5.
