FY18 Hardship Duty Pay–Tempo (HDP-T) Program Details

This MARADMIN reauthorizes the Hardship Duty Pay-Tempo (HDP-T) program for fiscal year 2018, effective 1 October 2017 through 30 September 2018. It applies to all active and reserve component Marines and maintains all previous guidance from earlier MARADMINs while cancelling MARADMIN 547/17.

Finance Personnel

1.  Purpose.  To reauthorize the Hardship Duty Pay-Tempo (HDP-T) program.
2.  Background.  Refs (a) through (c) provide Marine Corps guidance for the administration of the HDP-T program and authorized payments until 1 October 2017.  Per ref (d), the Assistant Secretary of the Navy Manpower and Reserve Affairs reauthorized the Department of the Navy's program for payment of HDP-T for fiscal year 2018.
3.  Policy.  Effective 1 October 2017, the payment of HDP-T to eligible Marines is reauthorized through 30 September 2018.  All other guidance in refs (a) and (b) remain in effect.  Ref (c) is cancelled.
4.  This MARADMIN applies to all active and reserve component Marines.
