Announcement of the Calendar Year 2025 Male and Female Athletes of the Year

This MARADMIN announces the Calendar Year 2025 Male and Female Athletes of the Year and Team of the Year. Captain Danielle Audino was selected as Female Athlete of the Year for her professional road cycling achievements, Major Kyle King was named Male Athlete of the Year for winning his third Marine Corps Marathon, and the Men's All-Marine Golf Team earned Team of the Year honors for capturing their first-ever Armed Forces Championship gold medal.

1.  This message announces the 2025 Male and Female
Athletes of the Year and Team of the Year.
2.  The Director of Marine and Family Programs Division takes
pleasure in congratulating the following Marines on their selection:
2.a.  Female Athlete of the Year:  Captain Danielle Audino
Captain Audino competed at the highest level of domestic
professional road cycling in the United States as a member of the
Fount Cycling Guild Domestic Elite Women's Cycling Team.  Placing
third at the Portland Criterium, Captain Audino, capped a season
that included multiple, individual, top 20 finishes, and
measurable contributions toward team podium finishes.
2.b.  Male Athlete of the Year:  Major Kyle King.
Major King won the Marine Corps Marathon (MCM) for the third time.
He became the first three-time champion of the MCM by winning the
50th MCM with a time of 2:18:52.
2.c.  Team of the Year:  2025 Men's All-Marine Golf Team.  The Men's
All-Marine Golf Team made history at the 2025 Armed Forces
Championship by capturing their first ever gold medal in the team
competition.  The victory took place at the Legends Golf Course in
Parris Island, SC.
